Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Handymen, we strive to provide reliable and professional home services, including electrician, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and cleaning. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled.

1. Cancellations by Customers

  • Customers may cancel or reschedule a booking at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time without penalty.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to [insert % or fixed amount] of the service price.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued in the following cases:

  • The service was prepaid online and canceled within the allowed time frame.

  • The service could not be delivered due to staff unavailability or other issues on our side.

Refunds are not available if:

  • The service has already been completed.

  • Cancellations are made after the service start time.

  • Dissatisfaction is due to factors beyond our control (e.g., pre-existing issues at the customer’s property).

3. Cancellations by Us

In rare cases, Handymen, may need to cancel or reschedule a booking due to staff illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases:

  • Customers will be notified as soon as possible.

  • A full refund will be issued for prepaid services if the customer chooses not to reschedule.

4. Refund Process

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after approval.

  • For cash payments, refunds will be provided via bank transfer or service credit.
